road to destruction?

I was inspired when i saw a busy road. So I've decided to draw a road and it's heading to the earth. The earth is full with tall building and very darkish. It looks like it dying. It's like we are on the road on the earth destruction.

the earth in the mirror

In this sketch, the earth is looking into the mirror. The real image of the earth is on the right. It's dirty, polluted and dying but when it look into the mirror, it sees itself as this happy serene place. The earth have a distorted image of itself. It's in denial of it's condition. This also can reflect the people living in the earth. We do not have the idea of the real condition of the earth. We're in denial.

the first sketch is a picture of someone trying to cook the earth. what i'm trying to convey here is that we are trying to destroy the earth. We are making the earth our food and eating the earth. In another way, it's like we're killing the earth.

the second sketch is basically has the same idea. but instead of cooking, we are eating the earth. We killed the earth and having it as our dinner.

Global warming?

When it comes to global warming the first thing that comes to my mind is the earth. This is because global warming is something that is happening to the earth right now due to the people carelessly living life and being ignorance of the earth.

While playing with the idea of earth I came out with this idea of water. Global warming causes the rises of the sea level due to the melting of the ice in the arctics. Water fits perfectly with the theme of global warming too. Thus, I'm trying to combine the idea of earth and water for my project.
